Product Condition, Tags, Descriptions, Notes!!!

At BuyWander, every item is a retail return or overstock — so condition varies. We give you all the info you need up front: condition categories, item tags, and detailed notes. Here’s what they mean:

Condition Categories

These describe cosmetic appearance and/or whether an item is functional:

  • Appears New — Looks brand new or unused, functional.

  • Gently Used — Minor wear, functional.

  • Used — Noticeable wear, functional.

  • Heavy Use — Significant wear, functional.

Some items need repairs to work properly:

  • Easy Fix — Requires a simple fix (like replacing a screw, part, or fuse) to regain functionality.

  • Major Fix — Requires significant repair or replacement of parts to be functional again.

Item Tags

Tags give you extra details about functionality and cosmetics:

  • Functional — Item works as intended.

  • Appears Functional — Looks like it should work but wasn’t fully tested.

  • Tested — Verified to work during processing.

  • Turned On — Powers on but wasn’t fully tested.

  • Missing Packaging — Original packaging not included.

  • Damaged Packaging — Box is torn, dented, or incomplete.

  • Scratch and Dent — Cosmetic imperfections present.

  • Needs Cleaning — Item has surface dirt/dust but should clean up.

Notes

  • Notes provide important extra details about an item.

  • They highlight anything not obvious in the photos or condition tags (e.g., “missing hardware,” “cosmetic scratch,” “only includes 2 chairs out of 4”).

  • Always read notes carefully before bidding.

Quick Summary

  • Condition categories = overall look + functionality.

  • Tags = specific cosmetic or functional details.

  • Notes = extra context you need before purchasing.
